what?

Went to raw bear's battle of the nabds last night. It was fun. He played in two bands there. One is a standard rock band, one is a ska band. The rock band is good, they won. They played 2 of their won songs and a pink floyd song. It is call gypsy sister river. The ska band is Frank Zigmunt and the planenteers. The audiance liked them much better, at least going by the participation. I liked them better too, they are much more fun to listen to. 4b is the lead singer and lead guitar in FZP.

So our last guests prompts us to replace the matress in the guest room. That part was OK, but every mattress trickled down the rooms, so I moved one after another. The last one, the one going to the dump, was just funny, it literally had springs falling out as I took it to the door. Maybe it doesn't want to leave.
It was interesting having a huge black eye at work. No one said anything,, but how could you miss something like that? Maybe they were afraid to ask. No one seemed to be shy about commenting on my vasectomy walk, and giggling...
This is dance day, 3 girls, 3 classes, 3 trips. every week. I hope they enjoy the classes. At least I get 5 minutes alone with them.
4B went to USU yesterday to check out the school. I was glad to see him get so interested, he met with some teachers and learned a lot. It should be a good school for him, at least for the first year.
Today and yesterday are science fair and Iproject deadlines. We have been making posters, doing science, printing pictures, it is fun. I think N got a bit tired of me explaining stupid engineering things to her, she just wanted to get er done. H is writing on dragons. She insistes thy are real. She has no problem just making things up as she goes. Like how dragon ladies lay the dragon eggs outside the cave, then just leaves them. That's why dragons are so tuff.

not again

So it has been a while since a post. Pretty much the same things go on. I spent a week in New Mexico doing more flight tests, at least this time I was on the flight crew, it is more interesting on the aircraft than at the ground station. Probably going back in March for a few more weeks. Then maybe deyployment ...
I should post a picture of me, I have a nice shiner, it is a nice purple, glad the swelling is down though. S can have a bad temper sometimes. My eye looks bad, but I don't think anyone will notice at church. I am somehow invisible there, I think I go go naked and no one would notice.
The cold is getting old here, I don't think it has even been above freezing for the last few weeks, it may snow a little today, that might warm it up a bit.
We got a VoIP phone to replace the qwest phone. It works most of the time, but I have to reset it every few days, it must be a Windows phone.
My Dad have his birthday a few days ago, it is hard to see Dad getting older. He seems to be doing fine, but I am starting to become aware he won't be here forever. I went down yesterday, we spent sometime on google earth looking at some of the places in Japan and Korea where he lived when he was in the AF. It was fun.
